Kara Moscovitz is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years’ experience working in school and clinical settings. Dr. Moscovitz provides counseling to children, adolescents, and young adults with AD/HD, depression, anxiety, and emotion dysregulation. She coaches clients with attention disorders and executive function skill weaknesses, building skills through education, self-exploration and solution-focused problem solving. Dr. Moscovitz conducts comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate AD/HD, specific learning disorders, emotional/psychiatric disorders, and giftedness, and assists families seeking support for their child’s educational needs. She has expertise in facilitating interactive parenting workshops and individual parenting consultations within a collaborative problem-solving framework.
